Work Examples

E-LEARNING

Goal: Create engaging and effective courses to train global sales members with varying levels of sales experience on new products and solutions and to apply that knowledge in customer conversations.

Execution: These formal e-Learning courses focus on providing the learner with choice. If they’re new to the product they can immediately jump in and choose specific topics to increase their knowledge. If they’re more experienced they can start customer conversation scenarios that provide a safe space for them to learn from mistakes. Each course has a quiz at the end that tests their basic knowledge.

SHAREPOINT LEARNING PORTALS

Goal: Provide an informal learning site that learners can regularly visit for news, updates and information on products, solutions, events and more.

Execution: In order to provide continuous updates to learners on topics that change frequently, I worked with global stakeholders in the design and development of topic-based SharePoint portals focused on informal learning opportunities. These sites allowed employees to have a one-stop-shop where they could quickly find anything they needed to know on about a product portfolio or solution.

Software: Microsoft SharePoint

EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS

Goal: Provide regular updates to team members on a topic or product in an engaging, fun and easily digestible video.

Execution: How do most people consume content today? Video! They get most of their information on YouTube. In addition to e-Learning courses, I love to create short, fun, educational and digestible videos around a topic by creating an entire video series. The idea with these is to require minimal effort from the SMEs and use Zoom for recording. No studios. No traveling. Small production time. Get the SME back to their day job.

CORPORATE COMMUNICATION VIDEOS

Goal: Provide communication and awareness around new initiatives.

Execution: Developed short infographic style videos to help raise awareness on the launch of new products or company initiatives.

ONBOARDING & NEWS MULTIMEDIA

Goal: Rather than create another newsletter or email, find a creative way to engage employees on company announcements or HR initiatives such as an update to employee benefits.

Execution: A much better way to communicate with employees is through video rather than creating yet another newsletter. Combining short introductory videos that provide a high-level overview and then pointing the learner to a link to find out more information on the company intranet is a fantastic way to grab the learner’s attention while providing options to learn more if needed.
